Move over Obama, today Hank Baskett is more popular than you!
In only a few days I will be presenting at Pubcon, on a panel discussing keyword research. Part of the exercises and tools I will be discussing, includes taking a look from time to time at Google’s hot trends. Lo and behold, today as I am taking my own medicine, I realize that the most popular search is for Hank Baskett, Philadelphia Eagles third string receiver. How is this so, I mean, how can a third string receiver have 3 of the top 10 most searched for terms today when Obama only has 1?
Did the Eagles get LaDanian Tomlinson for Hank and it is being hailed as the stupidest trade ever? NO!
Did Barack Obama pick Hank as his secretary of state?
NO!
Well look at the keywords more closely:

Did he pose nude? Is there a tape? NO
He got engaged. Wow, moral of the story - wanna become the most popular guy on the Internet for one day? Marry a playmate!
