SEER Interactive is seeking an Internet Marketing Account Manager to join our team. We’re looking for someone that “loves the web, loves marketing” and is looking to work in a progressive company where they can combine both loves. We are looking for a hard working, quick learning, intrinsically motivated, detail-oriented team member.
Our ideal candidate should have a passion for the field of Interactive Marketing (especially search engine optimization / SEO), possess a thirst for knowledge, demonstrate strong communication skills, possess a competitive-edge and have the ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for the management of multiple client relationships. This candidate will also ensure high quality implementation of all interactive engagements. The person will oversee all facets of account management: website/creative development with both internal and external resources, production, trafficking (managing timelines) and maintaining client relationships.
The successful candidate will be ready to come in here and light the world on fire with their understanding of management of web projects. S/he will be able to demonstrate that they've been very successful at interpreting results down to ROI and being able to use their intimate knowledge of the client to provide strategic up selling. It is critical that this person be able to identify areas where additional opportunities for SEER Interactive exist. Coming to the interview with samples of how you’ve helped upsell clients wouldn't hurt your cause either.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage all direct communications with clients, including campaign expectations, setup and execution, & deliverables and reporting
- Provide strategic consultation and input to site development strategies and online media plans
- Assist in presentations and business development efforts with strategic thinking, research and analysis
- Manage multiple SEO campaigns, web development and media engagements across multiple clients
- Managing our search team. Our search team is full of talented, smart, competitive people; you should be able to ensure we're getting things done on (or even before) they're due
- Obsess about results, we expect you to stay on top of the impact of our work on client goals and proactively communicate with clients on project impact, you should be able to identify areas of improvement and communicate that to the team.
- Meet with clients regularly
- Review market and industry research to provide industry updates, market scans and client reports.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of agency experience (preferably online)
- Experience managing accounts and/or projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Desire to learn definitely matters more than what you know today about the web marketing space.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly organized; solid time management skills
- Enthusiastic about the Internet as a marketing medium and willing to keep up with the latest trends
- Online media planning / trafficking / buying
- Pay per click marketing exposure w/ automated tools is a major plus
First consideration will be given to applicants who have a minimum of 2 years of agency experience, preferably interactive.
